Education Required:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business related in Logistics.


HM will review candidate submittals of hybrid candidates with High School Diploma, but they MUST have at least 2-3 years of experience

One resource will be responsible for Logistics internally in USA, in and out of inventory.
Second resource responsible for Import and Exports in USA.


1. This position is responsible to carry out day-to-day duties to successfully coordinate transportation of import products to final destinations in North America. Working with customs brokers to ensure smooth delivery to warehouses and Client customers. Monitoring carrier delivery performance by utilizing current track & trace platforms, as well as integrating new digital partners.
2. Responsible for the fulfillment of export orders of products manufactured at different DNP Production Sites (ANH) to all Client Affiliates' customers (LATAM, APAC, EU, CHINA and NA). - Function as a key contact and liaison between international DNP regions and DSM product manufacturing sites, Quality, Shipping and Logistics teams. -Support to the various DSM Affiliates (regions) while coordinating the manufacturing sites, Logistics, Quality, Shipping and Supply Chain to support customer demand, to ensure the continuity of product supply, address order management issues, product documentation and export documentation, as well as various other projects that might impact customer service goals, inventory management or other operating objectives.


Position context
1. Responsible to guarantee the imports orders to delivered on time, if not keep the areas informed about the ETA in USA and Canada.
2. Responsible for facilitating the export of products to various Client Affiliates' customers, including Asia Pacific, Latin America, EU, China & Far East.
3. Accountable for proper ordermanagement, scheduling of shipping/handling to meet requested documentation and delivery times, set by Affiliates.
4. Work in close coordination with Global Supply Chain, Production, Shipping and Logistics, resolve DSM regions daily needs on order fulfillment issues.
Position Content


1) Key areas of accountability/responsibility:
1. Ensures personal compliance with all safety, health and environmental guidelines and standards
2. Monitor import shipments while in-transit, at port and delivered to final destination
3. Track & Tracing cargo using technology platforms available as well as integrating new platforms into Client network
4. Communication and updates to regional business support team of order/stock transfer status
5. Manage day to day relationship with customs brokers in USA & Canada
6. Spot audit customs entries and work with customs brokers if corrections with respective governments are required.
7. Monitor orders for DNPE, DNPLA, DNPAP, DNPCN by running daily Open Order reports(exports), as well as Unconfirmed Orders with Fix Date check.
8. Schedule order GI dates in SAP based on Global requested ETAs and product availability
9. Prepare daily and weekly open order reports in order to plan correct fulfillment of orders and timely shipping/delivery scheduling, as required by customers.
10. Support plant personnel by performing daily urgently needed changes in SAP so packaging and Shipping activities can be completed
11. Assist regional AMC's including but not limited to:
1. Create and change in SP: OR sales orders, ZFD (samples) orders, CR (credit memos) and DR (debit memos)
2. Runa VA0A and ZOpenorder for Sales Order reporting
3. Use MD04 and MMBE and MB51 for stock requirement and inventory batches status
4. Technical expertise across SAP system for order fulfillment/management
5. Has the authority to intervene in the event of a quality of safety protocol concern
12. Researches customer complaints as it relates to logistics and coordinates corrective action where required
13. Researches claims and damages and works with Zurich Insurance and agent to submit claims and follow up for refunds
14. Regulatory support - Support regulatory team with documentation requirements needed for audits, customs, FDA, etc.
15. Continuously improves operational aspects of imports through our DICI program
16. Liaison with back-office to ensure smooth processing of invoices from brokers and carriers for both HNH and ANH
17. Follows all SHE instructions and procedures to include awareness of and following all Client Life Saving Rules. Acts in such a way that safety awareness and accident prevention are considered in performing all tasks.
18. Works to SHE standards and encourages fellow colleagues to work to the same standards.
19. Ensures that all personal safety, quality and assigned training is up to date and in compliance.
20. Supports and follows the policy of reporting incidents, near misses and improvement possibilities.
21. Encourages co-workers and management to improve SHE results and incidents.
22. Ensures Quality procedures, Management Directives and Quality improvement projects are supported and followed.
23. Reports any quality deviations or non-conformances observed


Knowledge and Educational Level
1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business related in Logistics.
2. Knowledge of and experience with Warehousing and Transportation in general and Hazmat materials.
3. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and/or external parties.
4. Problem solving skills in a complex and fast-moving environment.
5. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
6. Advanced computing skills in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP (R/3 and Business Warehouse)

Experience
5 years of experience in a global environment with a complex matrix organization, preferable in the Animal Nutrition industry.
At least 5 years of experience in imports and exports activities.
Experience with outsourcing of complex and very high standard distribution and warehousing activities.
Experience in project management with worldwide integrated processes and system collaborating with cross functional teams.
Proven analytical, leadership, organizational and inter-personal skills.
Experience in dealing with authorities and internal or external audits.
